MY LIFE AS A FEMALE SOLDIER IN IRAQ
March 11, 2008

As we celebrate Women's History Month and approach the fifth anniversary of the War in Iraq, listen to a diverse panel of women who have had firsthand experience in the military or have been directly affected by this ongoing conflict. Get an inside look at the military culture from a female perspective, exploring the issues that these women have had to deal with abroad, and how they have been able to integrate and re-adjust back to their life at home. Moderated by Adaora Udoji, co-host of The Takeaway on WNYC/PRI, this event is sure to be engaging and thought-provoking and will give a voice to women who have served our country with honor.
